Campaign Updates

Friday Roundup for November 6, 2015

Thanks to all of your efforts, this campaign to get Houston back to basics scored a big victory on Tuesday night. Bill's vote totals were well above those of his nearest competitors for the second runoff spot, and only six percentage points behind Rep. Turner. Bill's 'Back to Basics' message is resonating in all corners of the city, and there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the runoff.

  • 65,866. That's how many Houstonians agreed that it's time to get our city back to basics. Now we need your help more than ever to reach the voters who may have supported another candidate, but are still looking for a new direction at City Hall.
  • Dedicated poll workers were a huge part of our success on Election Day. Sign up now to pitch in for the runoff: working polls, block walking, or helping out at campaign HQ.
  • Despite the hype surrounding Team King over the past few days, Bill took time out to do his civic duty.
  • We are still working hard for every vote and will spare no effort between now and December 12.
Next week, Bill starts off by taping an interview with Majic 102, then heads to speak at the Super Neighborhood Alliance meeting on Monday evening at the Bob Lanier Public Works Building at 611 Walker Street.

Help get the word out: don't forget to drop by and pick up your BKFH stickers, yard signs, and t-shirts.
